It is also a good desktop publisher and far better than Microsoft Word in this specific aspect. Moreover it has a good compatibility with Microsoft Office, as opens and produces. It has in fact so powerful autosaving features embedded that, in case of crash (very rare event) or blackout, it is possible to recover the document in progress even with the very last key touch saved. SOMETHING WRONG WITH MICROSOFT OFFICE 2011 FOR MAC UPDATE FREEFree of charge, fluid, easy to use, very comfortable interface, and never loses the work done. Newbies, home users, students, and self-employed professionals can benefit a lot from Pages. And now everyone is returning to office soon (I'm in Australia) I'm gonna have less time to look after this unruly beast. An outstanding word processor, but not for everybody. I'd like to wait for the updates to settle down but like hell that'll happen. Is good in theory but the salt is real.Ĭross functionality between apps, and changing of terminology. I log on to find everything I've worked my ass off for can now be done in a few clicks. Something that requires a huge workaround gets quietly fixed. This has been every couple months recently!!! Chaos ensues, no one can find anything and I have to retrain them. Here's my top 3 "guess I'll die" stressful changes: It's so much work, communication and planning to prepare this only for something to break or majorly change from a single update. I work as an EA so a lot of my SharePoint and O365 knowledge is more of a passion project to help transition an internal IP firm from paper to digital. Finally just went to, which got me the old Security & Compliance page, where I could make the proper changes. Well I have Security, and I have a separate Compliance, and neither one has "Threat Management" in the menus. Says to go to Antispam in Security & Compliance center. I JUST NOW ran into an issue, where I wanted to make a change to the forwarding block. The first time I tried to run it, it didnt even work (none of the custom domains showed as available in the command), but I let the project sit for a couple days and came back to it, and it worked the 2nd time (now all custom domains were available, and enabled first try) Set up many tenants just fine by clicking the enable button on DKIM in the GUI, now its gone, and had to research the powershell command (after discarding the first 10 results that told me to do the same thing I had been doing). GAH, I recently went through this as well. Overall, it was a very frustrating experience. SOMETHING WRONG WITH MICROSOFT OFFICE 2011 FOR MAC UPDATE WINDOWS 10In the end, I ended up spending 15 irritating minutes trying to set up a local PowerShell instance on my Windows 10 workstation so that I could run The One Command that was needed to generate the new record. I followed the link to the PowerShell documentation but was unable to perform the procedure with the Cloud Shell on the Microsoft 365 Admin Portal due to the command not being supported. I followed the link to the hidden Security Portal site only to be greeted with the news that you can only add a DKIM record to new domains via a PowerShell command. That opened up a page informing me that the feature was relocated several weeks ago to a deep hidden recess of the Security Portal policy page and that I should go there to configure things. Once on the old portal, I hit the option for DKIM configuration. After not being to locate the function there, I hit the button to revert back to the old Exchange Admin Center. I started out to with the new Exchange Admin Center but could not find the DKIM configuration option. My favorite recent Office 365 experience involved generating a DKIM record for a new domain. SOMETHING WRONG WITH MICROSOFT OFFICE 2011 FOR MAC UPDATE SOFTWARENow if you’re not constantly paying software assurance all of the things you use are totally worthless because they’ve written their licensing language to tie key features to that software assurance mechanism. SOMETHING WRONG WITH MICROSOFT OFFICE 2011 FOR MAC UPDATE LICENSESomehow it cost me $500 a year just to use simple office applications at work whereas only 10 years ago you could pay that one time truly “perpetual” license and use the software for 5-8 years without issue. The only genius thing about Satya Nadella is forcing customers to pay exponentially more for things over time (that used to cost relatively little and not require active SA). What a great company - never putting features in the same place ever for anything and then forcing you to an “upgrade” every and then claiming nothing will work without active software assurance so it has to be on a 3 year EA commit. Microsoft: A World of Confusion you will always pay ‘more’ for (in perpetuity).
